Early to rise...
Got up way too early this morning to help Ryan with his paper route. The weekend papers are so heavy this time of year, filled with all of the Christmas ads. So, I got up at 5am and we drove the paper route. I am so proud of Ryan for having this job - he has two routes and it is a lot of work for the little bit of money he makes. Did you know that your paper boy or girl has to buy their own plastic bags and rubber bands? Also the kids only make about $50 a route per month! Sounds like child labor to me! But, he is learning the responsibility of holding down a job and he loves spending his check every two weeks!

You go Ryan, you are such a great kid. Didn't realize that you had to get the plastics and rubberbands, that just doesn't sound right, does it. Keep up the good work though and stay warm out there that early in the morning.
