Karna lives in Wisconsin with his Mom and Dad - Dave's sister Michele and Hubby Paul. I don't get to see Karna as much as I would like and am sad that I am missing out on seeing him grow up. Michele and Paul were such a big part of Jared's life when he was Karna's age and I feel like Dave and I are not living up to our duties as Aunt and Uncle. Karna is such a lucky boy to have such amazing parents! I sure wish we lived closer to each other.
Karna, how did you grow up so fast? You are so handsome. We wish you a very Happy Birthday and we send love to your mommy and daddy. You are one lucky young man.
ReplyDeleteKaren, I know how you feel, with life styles the way they are now, families no longer are just around the corner from where they grew up and therefore cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and grandparents surely miss out on some really important celebrations in everyones lives. Like birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, etc. Times have changed and I am not sure that it's all good. Love you and miss you terribly.

Hello! I looked at your nieces b-day pics... oh my gosh how fun is that??! I was cracking up when I saw the mani/pedi pics because Kristy does that with Sabrina too. I am envious of those two little girls.. I think you're right by the way; I think they would get a long famously if they ever met. Talk to you later and thanks for chatting with me today. ReplyDeleteI know how you feel Karen. I have three nieces and one nephew that live in Alaska and I never get to see them. It's hard to be a big part of their life when you can't be there often. Happy Birthday to Karna!
