My "New"ly painted Butter Yellow Kitchen

Well we finally got our kitchen painted and I LOVE it! My Mom had helped me back in March remove everything from the walls and off the cabinets so we could wash the walls and ceiling down.  Then in April I chose a buttery yellow paint color.   I finally made it to the hardware store in June to pick up the paint and supplies - AND now in July we have finally painted the kitchen!  Better late than never huh? 

I love how the yellow color really shows off my vintage pottery and fruit labels.  I don't think I have ever had a yellow room before, but it is really a happy color and really gave our old kitchen

a fresh new look.

Ingredients: vintage images, magazines, scrapbook paper, copics, pastels, acrylics, pens and glue!
Mix together with a bit of imagination and glue!

ATC's Teesha Moore Style!

Have been having a lot of fun watching Teesha Moore's videos online and drooling over her art journals the past few nights.  I decided that it was time for me to get my art supplies back out and PLAY!  Stamped girls are from Artgirlz Rubber Stamps - I love these sets.  It is like playing with paper dolls!  Using my Lyra watercolor crayons, pastels, Copics and just about every pen I own to doodle!!

Dave and I took a little bit of time off from work and the store to make a quick trip to Vegas! We had a nice time meeting up with my Sister, Sandy from Florida AND Dave's Sister Michele and her Hubby, Paul from Wisconsin!
