Having Fun in CA!

I am having so much fun and learning so much! Shawna and I met up with Donna Jean and are staying with her neice in Yuba City. We are going non-stop but loving every crazy, creative minute of it!

Tim Holtz, California and Good Friends!

I am so excited to be leaving tomorrow morning for sunny California! Shawna and I are off to Sacramento for 4 days to take classes from Tim Holtz, Jennifer McGuire, Technique Tuesday, Scenic Route and more... We are also meeting up with my best bud, Donna Jean from County Purr Farm Scrapbooking. I am so lucky to have such a great team of gals at the stores to keep thing up and running AND an amazing hubby and boys that are able and willing to take care of things on the home front!

Grocery Shop your Own Kitchen!

One of our families biggest dilemmas every day is figuring out "what's for dinner!" When I was a stay at home mom, I would make weekly menus and plan my grocery list from that and have a homemade meal almost every night. But, now that I work full-time I am really struggling with finding the time or energy to get this done. I really love to cook and miss it! I am so blessed to have a husband who will go grocery shopping and make dinners for us, but we are making the same three meals over and over again!

One of my customers shared with me this great website - Cindy's Porch. I am really excited about it. Yes, it is going to take time to get organized and take the inventories - but I am hoping it will help us save money and time in the long run.

I miss my sister so much! She is such a wonderful woman and inspires me to be the best I can be. She is a self-employed corporate flight attendant & travels the world. I love to hear about all of her trips and see the photos of where she has been.

I have not seen her in so long, but She is coming to visit this Summer and I am so happy! She and Luke (her amazing boyfriend - I hope this guy marries her!!!) are going to drive up from Ft. Lauderdale to visit.

Relay for Life 08- Moscow, ID

Just got home from the Relay for Life at the U of Idaho Kibbie Dome. Shawna and I were there giving our time to the event on behalf of Paper Pals. We brought 2 make-n-take cards for the participants to make during the night long event. We saw lots and lots of familiar faces and were so inspired by all of the teams. The luminary ceremony was very touching and beautiful. I really want to get a Paper Pals Team together for next years event. Anyone want to join? We could scrapbook all night and raise money for the amount of pages we complete!
